PADRES Contra El Cáncer and Ralphs/Food 4 Less Provide Holiday Feasts for Children with Cancer and their Families

What:

Five hundred children with cancer and their families will kick off the holiday season with PADRES Contra El Cáncer, Ralphs/Food 4 Less, Azteca 54 and the Los Angeles Avengers at PADRES’ Annual "Harvest For HOPE" Thanksgiving Basket Distribution. Held at STAPLES Center, this event will also feature activities including arts and crafts, and an Avengers football toss.

"The holidays are a very special time of year for our families, but unfortunately, many are unable to provide a real Thanksgiving meal for their children," said Elvia Barboa, CEO of PADRES. "This year, through a generous donation from Ralphs/Food 4 Less and support from Azteca 54 and the LA Avengers, our families will have everything they need to create an unforgettable holiday feast."

Who:

Special guests include: actors Adrian Bellani and Matt Cedeño; the LA Avengers’ A-Team Dancers; Nancy Agosto and other Azteca 54 personalities; and elected officials including San Fernando City Councilwoman Maribel De La Torre. Staff members from PADRES, Ralphs/Food 4 Less and the LA Avengers will also be on hand to interact with the families and distribute holiday food baskets.
