On Saturday, June 20th PADRES hosted its 23rd Annual Family Picnic & Carnival at Whittier Narrows Park, CA. This exciting event brought together more than 3,000 pediatric cancer patients and their families for an afternoon full of fun and laughter. PADRES would like to thank each and every donor and volunteer who helped make this event a success. The day included 6 hours of live entertainment, BBQ and Pot Luck, Carnival Games and Rides, Arts & Crafts, Interactive Games with Prizes, Autographs with invited Celebrities & Special Musical performers. PADRES would also like to thank the following Ambassadors who attended the event: Constance Marie, actress, The George Lopez Show; Francisco Pinto, news anchor, Primer Edición/Univision; and Enrique Gutierrez, sports commentator, KMEX/Univision.

This year’s entertainment line-up included Rumba Buena, Cesar Brizuela, Mariachi Master Apprentice Program, Octavio Red, Oro Norteño, Roberto Tapia, and Jazmin Lopez.
